Important notice to all boat owners
Eastbourne Airbourne - Thursday 14th to Sunday 17th August
Guideline flying times this year are as follows:
- Thursday 14th August - 13:15 to 16:00
- Friday 15th August - 13:15 to 17:00
- Saturday 16th August - 13:00 to 17:00
- Sunday 17th August - 13:00 to 17:00
The flight display line will be marked from the pier to Holywell with a line of alternate black and orange buoys. Seaward of this will be 7 x spherical yellow buoys. All craft are required to stay at least 50 metres outside of this safety line.
The flying of drones is strictly forbidden during the Airshow. Any infringement will result in suspension of flying and be subject to prosecution by the CAA.
A safety boat MAGIC will patrol the buoyed area and will be on channel 73 for intership communication and information.
All vessels within the limits of the harbour are required to maintain a listing watch on VHF CH17 for lock and bridge control. All mariners are reminded to passage plan accordingly. Tide times and likely top up times are available from the Harbour Office.
