Swanwick Marina New Staff Roles

Swanwick Marina has implemented some staff changes across the marina with Andrew Whillier appointed as the new Boatyard Supervisor following Shona Brook’s departure. Andrew has been a Dockmaster at Swanwick Marina for over two years, he knows the marina extremely well and has built a great relationship with customers already. This change has been in place since Monday 1st July 2019.

Andrew came to Swanwick having worked his way up to Operations Manager for a local coach firm and he has brought a wealth of experience to Premier having spent time in a fast paced and ever changing operations department. Andy fell in love with boating when he moved to the Marine industry and aspires to have his own boat very soon.

The recent staffing changes at the marina has also seen Amy Powell take on a full time role at Swanwick Marina from the 1st July as a Marina Operative having previously joined as a seasonal member of staff. Amy has fitted in exceptionally well with the marina team and has learnt many aspects of the day to day running of the marina in such a short space of time.

Swanwick Marina Manager Martin Bowman commented: “Amy completed her Level 3 Marine Engineering course at CEMAST College in June 2019. I have been very impressed with Amy and she has shown the right attitude, nothing’s ever too much trouble, and on behalf of all the team at Swanwick I would like to wish her all the best in her new position.”
