Appreciation For The NHS
Our incredible NHS is working harder than ever to save lives and protect us all during the pandemic. Earlier this month a family who berth at Southsea Marina wanted to show their appreciation through the creation of rainbow pictures drawn by their five children, Amelia (8), Oscar (8), Harry (6), Theo (6) and Beaux (6 months). To share their passion, we have used the drawings to launch a fun children’s project to help raise money and community spirit.
Mother, Lucianne said: “Covid 19 had impacted us all, especially the children and we wanted to encourage "community time" in our home schooling. The pictures are for our family, friends and the Southsea Marina team to show our appreciation to those key workers who are going above and beyond in time of such uncertainty. We are thankful for all that they do.”
The project is now in its second week and we would love to see some more wonderful paintings and drawings from the children in your life to support our NHS – each with a rainbow theme and a picture of their pet or favourite creature and we promise that every picture we receive will be put into our social media. Plus we will choose a winning entry for each of our marinas and that will appear in our next news bite issues.
Parents or supervising adults should email these paintings and drawings to us by 31st May at firstname.lastname@example.org with the child’s first name and age, Premier marina name and a line to say you are happy for us to share this artwork online.
