The Port House Is Now Open For Business
Premier Port Solent is delighted to announce onsite café, bar and restaurant, The Port House has now reopened following the Government’s recent announcement.
To ensure the safety of all staff and guests, the Port House has introduced new social distancing measures including screen visors at the bar, hand sanitising stations at each entrance and a one-way system throughout the restaurant and outside seating areas. All tables have been spaced 1-2 metres apart to ensure social distancing and staff have been provided with PPE.
Sally Ann Pickles, Managing Director said: “On Monday 13th July we had our first staff meeting back at The Port House since the lockdown. Most of our staff hadn’t seen each other in nearly four months so going back into the venue felt a bit like the first day at school. We are so excited to be open again and welcome back all our incredible customers! We will still be offering all our popular menu items and have even added a few new pub classics to the menu, as well as offering delicious local ice cream, available to take out - just add sun!”
Food will be served from 8.30 to 15.00 daily, with bar snacks available on Friday evenings according to demand. The restaurant’s opening hours will be reviewed each month and The Port House plans to be offer the Government’s ‘eat out to help out’ scheme in August, offering 50% off food Monday to Wednesday.
To maintain social distancing, the restaurant will be capped to 56 guests at one time. Customers are advised to make a reservation as it is table service only. For more information on opening times and contact details visit http://theporthouse.org/.
