New Waste Management Contract
During lockdown the team has been working hard to make sure the best contractors are in place to deliver efficient services. Continually looking to improve waste management and recycling onsite, Premier Marinas has recently signed a new contract with Veolia.
Replacing Biffa as providers, collections are now scheduled three times a week over the summer and new waste bins have recently been delivered and are in situ across the site at Noss on Dart. With clearer signage to identify recycling bins, Premier hopes this move will encourage and aid more recycling across the company’s nine sites.
Andy Osman CMM, General Manager said: “Veolia is a nationwide organisation who tendered and were successful in securing the provision of these important services across the entire Premier portfolio of marinas. We very much look forward to building a strong relationship with them going forward. As part of the new contract, we would like to remind berth holders and tenants that the waste oil tank is provided only for old waste engine oil. Under no circumstances should petrol or bilge water be deposited into the waste oil tank.”
