Dredging update from Brighton Marina

Brighotn Piling

October 2023. ML dredging has completed its operations in the harbour for the year, working to our annual dredge plan to remove 77,000 cubic meters (or 100,000 tonnes) on the current licence.

The maintenance dredge of the harbour entrance and visitor holding area is complete, as well part of the southern fairway, the large berths on pontoon 13 and between 24 and 23.

The entrance channel markers are now back in place and weather permitting, Doris will continue dredging the East Jetty throughout the winter.

Numerous piles in the marina which had been affected by accelerated low water corrosion have also been replaced.
