East Cowes Marina has today joined the Premier Marinas South Coast network, giving berth holders access to one of the most extensive full-service marina networks in the country.
This move marks the next stage in Premier Marinas’ programme to bring recently acquired boatfolk marinas into a single, high-quality network, designed to give berth holders greater choice, consistency and value wherever they cruise.
Andrew Lewis, Sales & Marketing Director at Premier Marinas, says: “For berth holders at East Cowes, joining the Premier network is about getting more from their berth from day one. More places to cruise, more consistency when they arrive, and better value across the South Coast. Our job is to make that feel seamless, so customers can enjoy the benefits immediately without losing what they already love about their home marina.
“We’ve seen at Haslar how quickly customers begin to feel the difference when a marina becomes part of a connected network, and that experience has shaped how we’re approaching East Cowes. We're focused on smooth delivery, clear communication and putting berth holders first at every stage.”
Berth holders at East Cowes will be granted access to the Premier Advantage rewards and benefits scheme. Staff are fully trained to help customers make the most of their new perks, including visitor nights across the Premier network and discounted fuel, while the MyPremier app and portal provide practical tools to plan and enjoy time on the water with confidence.
The addition of East Cowes is part Premier’s wider integration programme, with Weymouth, Portland and Deacons also set to complete their transition into the Premier network ahead of the 2026 season. Once complete, berth holders will have access to one of the most comprehensive marina networks on the South Coast, all within a single annual berthing agreement.
Mike Townshend, Marina Manager at East Cowes Marina, adds; “The team are excited to be joining the Premier Marinas network and to welcome our berth holders into what is a much bigger boating community. This rebrand isn’t about changing what people value about East Cowes, it’s about enhancing it. The marina remains a cherished local asset, and the team is ready to welcome the boating community for Cowes Week and the Round the Island Race in the same way we’ve always done.
“What’s been particularly reassuring is seeing how smoothly the transition worked for our colleagues at Haslar and how quickly customers began to feel the benefits. It feels like we have been given a clear blueprint for how we approach the change, putting our berth holders first and making sure they feel supported, informed and excited about what’s ahead.”
Commenting on Haslar Marina’s recent transition into the Premier family, Ben Lippiett, General Manager at Haslar Marina, comments: “The integration at Haslar was impressively well planned and the team adapted quickly to the new systems. Most importantly, our customers are already benefiting, with immediate savings on lifting, ashore storage and fuel. Being part of a larger network also brings access to shared expertise and a much bigger cruising ground for our berth holders.”
Situated on the River Medina, East Cowes Marina offers access to some of the Solent’s most popular cruising routes, alongside modern facilities for both visiting and resident boaters. The marina features walk-ashore pontoons with power and water, secure access, parking and a range of nearby amenities, all within easy reach of local shops, dining and transport links.
