Ellenmacarthur Mixedcontent

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, based at East Cowes Marina, was the official charity of North Sails Cowes Week 2026.

During the week, the charity encouraged visitors to meet the team in the Regatta Village and take a tour of one of the charity's specially adapted yachts – Solent Hero - which enables young people who have been treated for cancer in the UK to participate in a transformational sailing experience.

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust are also running a Kit-in-Kind scheme, encouraging people to donate any old or unwanted sailing clothing, foul-weather gear and marine kit for them to sell on their eBay shop to raise proceeds for the charity. Visit their website to donate or get involved.

We want to share our thanks for everyone who attended the Deacons and Swanwick summer berth holder party and helped raised £900.77 for The Ellen MacArthur Trust. Berth holders at Universal Marina also raised £721.20 in donations for Hamble Lifeboat at their summer party!
