Investing in our team and marina
As an Investor’s in People accredited business, we are committed to the learning and development of our staff and we are delighted to share that Sergey has been building his Health and Safety knowledge by supporting with risk assessment projects as part of the integration of the new marina locations.
Several investment projects are also on the go at Southsea including recladding the marina reception building, replacing the onsite signage and installing new planters to bring more life to the marina.
Explore a membership with Southsea Marina Angling Club
If you’re looking to be part of an active community of like-minded anglers who love boat fishing, friendly competitions, socials and marine conservation, a membership with Southsea Marina Angling Club (SMAC) could be for you. Annual membership costs just £20 and includes monthly club meetings held at The Marina Bar, an annual presentation night, annual summer BBQ and four major open competitions a year, with the next event the Open Bream Boat Competition on Sunday 3rd May.

Join us in celebrating the summer with a BBQ and live music at The Marina Bar on Saturday 25th July!
The Marina Bar also host a Quiz Night on the first Wednesday of every month and have regular live music – stay up to date by following them on Facebook.

Our neighbours at the award-winning Portsmouth Distillery Co. offer the full package for entertainment with their range of delicious artisan spirits and a calendar of events and experiences throughout the year!
On Friday 20th March they launch their new Gin and Rum School where you can create your very own bottle of spirit, as well as running distillery tours every weekend and cocktail masterclasses twice a month.

Universal Marina invites you to a Flare Amnesty and Open Day
Prepare for the season ahead by joining us for a Flare Amnesty and Open Day at Universal Marina on Saturday 11th April.
Bring your flares along to have them checked and disposed of safely by experts Seago Yachting, get your lifejacket checked for free by the local RNLI Water Safety team and the onsite businesses at Universal Marina will also be hosting an Open Day for you to explore their services and offers.
