Brighton Marina welcomed Frank Cikryt back as a Marina Host, a familiar and popular face amongst our marina community. We have also welcomed Tristan Nicholls to the team as a full-time Marina Operative. Tristan joins us from a technical role working with robotics for an online retailer and looks forward to developing his boating knowledge.
Chichester Marina bid a fond farewell to Ade Leggatt this summer as he enjoys a well-earned retirement after 44 years of loyal service. Henry Liddell is stepping into Ade's role of Boatyard Manager and will be responsible for driving this side of our operations going forward. We recently said goodbye to our Duty Manager Andy Cloarec who has moved to Swanwick Marina to be closer to home and we wish him all the best in his new team.
With two Duty Manager positions available, we are delighted to have promoted two members of the Premier team into management roles - Sergey joins us from Southsea Marina and Matt Bacon has been promoted from within the Chichester team.
It has been a busy period of recruitment as we also welcome Ben Timkey, Colin Nicholls, Josh Alsford, Mat Gerrard and Tom Dobson to the team, alongside 8 seasonal staff members to help us with the busy summer season, made up of some familiar faces and new recruits.
The anticipation continues for four of our Brighton Marina team who will be completing a charity abseil down Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower to raise funds and awareness for Oceans of Hope UK - a sailing charity that supports individuals living with multiple sclerosis (MS), helping them regain confidence, connection, and a sense of adventure through shared sailing experiences.
Due to strong winds, their abseil has been postponed on two occasions and they await a new date – so there is still time to show your support and donate.
