The local water suppliers for several of our marina locations have now confirmed a "Temporary Hosepipe Ban" is active and it is important our berth holders and visitors are aware of the implications of this at our marinas.
Individuals are not permitted to wash down private leisure boats using a hosepipe.
You can still use water for essential engine maintenance and to fill a fresh water tank. Commercial operations remain unaffected so you will see our boatyard teams and other businesses continuing to operate as normal.
Full details of the restrictions and permitted exemptions are detailed on the website for each water supplier
- South East Water (Sovereign Harbour)
- Southern Water (Deacons, Swanwick, Universal and East Cowes)
- Wessex Water (Weymouth and Portland)
- South West Water (Noss on Dart, Dartmouth and Falmouth)
We appreciate any restrictions on water use are unwelcome, but trust you will understand the reasons these are being implemented at this time and thank you for complying.
