The Environment Agency have commissioned shingle replenishment works in the Pevensey Bay area between Langney Point and Cooden, mainly to the immediate east of Sovereign Harbour.

Works are due to start on or after 17 September for approximately 8 weeks generally during neap tide periods for 6-8 days. During Spring tides the vessel will be working near Littlehampton. Estimated completion is late October 2026 weather dependant.
