Swanwick Welcomes Two New Staff
We’re delighted to welcome Rachel Lasham and Felicity Field to Swanwick Marina as Customer Service Advisors - making the move from Chichester Marina.
Rachel has worked at Chichester for almost 14 years, working in a variety of roles including Customer Service Advisor, Marina Host, Marina Operative and in the boatyard. During her time with Premier she has completed her Day Skipper theory and Powerboat Level 2 and is looking to complete her Day Skipper practical next year.
“I’m loving my new role, which focuses more on maintenance and the dry stack,” says Rachel. “I’m looking forward to being trained up to use the small forklift and large dry stack forks, and also learn how to tow. I love learning new skills and being outside so this role is the perfect progression for me within Premier.”
Next year Rachel is going to be taking on her biggest challenge - the 2022 Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge as part of the ‘In Our Element’ rowing team. The team officially launched their bid at the Southampton International Boat Show last month and we’ll be following their progress over the next year.
We also welcome Felicity (best known as Flick) to Swanwick who has worked at Chichester for 9 years as a Customer Service Advisor. During that time she has also completed her Day Skipper Theory and has had full training operating all aspects of a marina including the lock at Chichester. She has been around boats all her life, growing up in Devon where her parents owned a yacht chandlery and continues to further her skills in dinghy and yacht sailing.
Felicity comments: “I am looking forward to the exciting challenge of working at Swanwick Marina, particularly with the ongoing regeneration of the site and the larger boats that the Hamble attracts.”
