An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marina Operative to join the team at Premier Marinas’ Deacons Marina.
Working as part of a small, hardworking team this multifaceted role will include, but is not limited to, marina operations, customer service, boatyard operations, general maintenance and other tasks as may be required.
To be considered for this role, candidates should be able to demonstrate:
- Ability to understand and deliver excellent customer service
- Ability to learn and use computer software systems
- “A can do" attitude and flexible approach to teamwork
- An understanding of boatyard operations
Previous experience of boat handling/boatyard operations and a local knowledge of the local sailing area and cruising grounds would be a major advantage but training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.
A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
This role includes working both indoors and outdoors in all weathers and includes working days and occasional weekends and bank holidays on a shift pattern as required to keep our marina operational all year round.
