Graham Bristowe
Marina Manager
A manager at Premier since 2007, Graham has a wealth of marine knowledge having previously managed Gosport, Port Solent, Universal and Chichester marinas. He is also a keen runner, most recently completing the Comrades Marathon in South Africa and in May 2026 will be taking on the Isle of Wight Ultra - 106km in one go around the island, all in aid of Cancer Research.
Julie Spensley-Corfield
Duty Manager
Julie started as a Marina Assistant following a dedicated career in the NHS. Her commitment to service was truly highlighted when she answered the call to return to the front line during the pandemic, supporting the intensive care unit at QA Hospital.
Upon returning to the marina, Julie’s expertise and leadership saw her progress to her appointment as Duty Manager in 2023.
A passionate sailor, Julie can often be found aboard her classic yacht, Ceilidh Mhor, accompanied by her cat, Portland, and her spaniel, Socks.
Richard Jesshope
Senior Marina Operative
A highly experienced maritime professional and long-standing member of the Deacons team, Richard brings a wealth of technical expertise to the marina. An expert all-rounder, he is equally skilled in yard maintenance and boat handling as he is in providing dedicated support to berth holders. With a background in IT and significant sailing experience, including a notable voyage from Cardiff to Norway -Richard’s proactive approach and multi-disciplinary skill set ensure a high standard of service and technical care across the site.
Alex Beyene
Marina Operative
Alex brings a wealth of experience to Deacons, having worked for many years across various local sites, including Haslar Marina. He is highly regarded for his professional and approachable manner, with a strong focus on delivering an exceptional standard of customer service. Whether providing expert assistance on the pontoons or managing operations in the office, Alex’s industry knowledge and dedication to the boating community ensure a premium experience for all our berth holders.
