Following your feedback, we have been working on several projects to make visual improvements around Sovereign Harbour, including jet washing all pontoons, landscaping and weeding the onsite greenery and painting the buildings and roads.
As part of keeping our site clean, we encourage all site users to ensure you are using the onsite waste disposal facilities correctly, ensuring items are disposed of in the correct bins and nothing is left on the floors or on the pontoons.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the Veolia Do’s and Don’ts guide, which clearly explains what can and can’t go into each bin. Thank you for your cooperation and for helping make a positive difference.

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who attended our Sea Safety Day earlier this year. We hope you found both our desktop exercise and the full marina demonstration informative and helped build your confidence in what to do in case of an emergency oil spill / water contamination.

What’s on at Sovereign Harbour Yacht Club?
An evening with Jaz Turner – Wednesday 15th April
Join us in hearing the incredible story of Jaz Turner, an engineer and Paralympic sailor from Seaford who lives with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome – a debilitating genetic condition that affects connective tissue. Last year, Jaz created Project Fear, in which she set out to solo circumnavigate the British Isles and Ireland in her Albin Vega Yacht – 2,070 miles she completed last June. Pirates Day with Wetwheels Foundation – Saturday 18th July
Wetwheels is a UK charity giving people of all abilities the chance to experience the sea. Wetwheels Solent and South East will be at Sovereign Harbour from Monday 13th to Friday 24th July, offering two weeks of boating experiences, including a special Pirates Day on Saturday 18th July. This accessible boating experience includes treasure hunts, water fights, and costumes, with high-speed trips to Beachy Head lighthouse. Come and join in the fun and help raise money for an amazing charity.
