Walk For Charity - Enjoy A Marine Themed Art Trail
Mermaids, monsters and more - enjoy and explore the marine themed Alverstoke Art Trail this month and help raise money for an incredible local organisation.
A collection of over 50 houses in the picturesque village of Alverstoke, near to Gosport Marina are decorating their windows with an array of marine themed art next week to help raise funds for Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS). Why not liven up your daily walk or enjoy a fun day out with your household exploring the amazing art trail which comes to life from Wednesday 17th – Sunday 21st February.
To explore the Art Trail, you can purchase a ‘ticket’ which provides you with an emailed version of the trail map - revealing the secret locations of each window display to explore. Tickets are £7.50 (per map/household) and all proceeds go to GAFIRS. Due to COVID-19, all bookings to visit the trail will need to be for a specific date and time slot which can be made upon purchase of the ticket. The Alverstoke Art Trail is outdoors and requires no interaction with others but visitors are advised to walk or cycle the route where possible.
