Dry Berthing at Southsea Marina
Southsea Marina’s dry berthing for boats up to 10m offers a flexible alternative to keeping your boat in the water or on a trailer. Along with unlimited boat launch and retrieval in the summer months, you’ll also benefit from Premier Advantage
rewards such as 42 free visitor nights in other Premier marinas, fuel at cost and discounted marine insurance
Southsea Marina’s dry berthing service provides an economic option for storing any boat up to 10 metres in length. However, it will be of special interest to racing yacht owners and in particular, to Quarter and Mini Tonner enthusiasts, who will readily recognise this service as a quick and affordable way to access the Solent’s vibrant racing scene. RIB, motor boat and ski boat owners will also appreciate the marina’s Langstone Harbour location and will welcome the convenience of dry berthing as an alternative to the grind of trailer towing, boat launch and recovery.
Keeping your boat out of the water pays additional dividends as it reduces the risk of osmosis and prevents the build-up of marine growth on the hull – which usually improves the overall performance of your boat, reduces fuel consumption, and helps to lower maintenance costs. Boat owners can request the launch of a boat with just four hours’ notice during normal working hours and, when you return, you simply leave your boat on the outer waiting pontoon with a member of Premier Marinas staff and we arrange for it to be lifted ashore, washed and safely stored. Normal lifting hours are between Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Unlimited launching and retrieval is available from April to September as part of your annual dry berthing fee at the South Coast marina.
