How to get to East Cowes Marina
Premier’s East Cowes Marina sits on the Eastern side of the Medina River on the Isle of Wight. Easy to get to from the Island, and well connected through frequent car and passenger ferry services to Portsmouth and Southampton.
The marina’s reception is open between 8am and 8pm in the summer and between 9am and 6pm in the winter. Outside of these hours please contact the team at Premier Haslar Marina on 02392 601201.
Navigating to East Cowes Marina
East Cowes Marina is located on the East bank of the Medina River, approximately 500 metres south of the chain ferry. The marina is easily navigated by entering Cowes via the main Western channel (inner fairway) or the small craft Eastern Channel.
Directions by road
If starting on the Isle of Wight, follow sat nav directions for East Cowes Marina, Britannia Way, PO32 6UB.
If coming from the mainland, the Red Funnel car ferry services from Southampton Town Quay come straight into East Cowes, with the marina located a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the terminal.
Alternatively, there is also a car ferry which runs from Portsmouth Harbour to Fishbourne, which is approximately a 20 minute drive away from East Cowes Marina.
Rail and air connections
East Cowes is well connected to both Southampton and London airports, through both Southampton Central and Portsmouth Harbour train station, with further ferry services over to the Island.
From Southampton Central train station there is a free bus service to Town Quay, from which you can catch either the Red Jet high-speed passenger service comes into West Cowes, and is approximately a 20 minute walk away, taking the Cowes Chain Ferry from West Cowes to East Cowes.
Alternatively, the Wightlink Fast Cat service runs from Portsmouth Harbour station to Ryde Pier, from which you can catch the number 4 bus to East Cowes Marina.
