Brighton Marina's East Jetty Facilities Refurb
The toilet and shower facilities on the East Jetty at Brighton Marina are getting set for a full upgrade to the same luxury standard of the facilities at other Premier Marinas locations. The project, representing an investment of just under £300,000, will replace the current layout of ten unisex toilets with sixteen standard unisex cubicles. Each cubicle will have a quality shower, toilet and hand basin including a large family cubicle and a large cubicle with disable access. There will also be a nicely laid out foyer complete with vanity areas and hairdryers. The shower cubicles are an upgrade on the standard commercial toilet facility blocks; they are individual private rooms, for unisex use, all contained in one large enclosed area. This project, which includes a structural, technical and cosmetic upgrade to the current ablutions, will commence at the beginning of February with anticipated completion in early May. The refurbishment works will run for 14 weeks, during which temporary facilities will be installed in the Eastern car park adjacent to the access ramp. These facilities will be fenced off from the general public and berth holders and visitor will be able to access them by key fobs.
