Dredging Update Plus New Laundry Equipment from Brighton Marina
Premier's Brighton Marina is pleased to report that dredging of the entrance channel commenced on 15th May and continues at a rapid pace; as part of Premier’s planned schedule of maintenance to keep the approach channel as clear and navigable as possible.
The team at Brighton Marina has also begun dredging the fairways and channels within the main body of the marina. Premier’s in-house dredger ‘Doris’, is currently dredging between pontoon 18 and 19 and will continue until further notice.
Andrew Collumbell, Brighton Marina Manager added: “Further information will be given throughout this dredging campaign and we will endeavour to dredge additional areas subject to the capacity of our dredging licence."
Moreover, earlier this month, the West Laundry facility was closed whilst two brand new washing machines were fitted and the floor structure replaced and upgraded. A £10,000 investment project, both machines accept the new £1 coins.
