Sovereign Harbour Welcomes New Marina Staff
Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne has had a busy start to the season, with two new members of staff joining the marina team.
We are delighted to welcome Amy Hall as our new Customer Service Advisor, who has joined us from her previous administration role within the NHS which she has gained a great skill base in and worked incredibly hard on the front lines throughout the pandemic. Prior to this, Amy has completed her degree in Graphic Design and has a keen interest in design and photography.
Amy comments, “Having recently relocated to Eastbourne for the first time, I think it is a beautiful place to live and work and I am really enjoying getting to know the marina team and all of our berth holders and exploring the marine industry.”
We also welcome Lionel Hartley to the team as our new Lock Keeper. Lionel has been a keen sailor since his teenage years, including experience racing from Sovereign Harbour and is a friendly face in the yacht club, alongside working as a volunteer lifeguard for most of his life.
Lionel comments, “Having grown up within the boating industry and knowing the Sovereign Harbour community, I am really excited to now be working within it and can’t wait to see how everything works from a different perspective and learn everything I can about it.” Outside of work, Lionel is a big film buff and has a background as an IT specialist.
