Exciting Staff Changes at Brighton Marina
It is all go at Brighton Marina as the senior management team is strengthened with internal promotions.
Following Max Sinclair's appointment to Assistant Marina Manager in November, we are pleased to announce that Chris Mead has taken over as Brighton's Duty Manager. Chris has been a part of the Premier team for eight years, first as a Boatyard Supervisor in Brighton and then as temporary Duty Manager at Sovereign Harbour in 2021 to cover a staff member’s maternity leave - he offers a wealth of experience and knowledge to the management team.
Chris comments: “I’m enjoying my time at Premier, it’s a fantastic opportunity having experienced working in two of the largest marinas in the UK. I'm now excited about the challenges that my new role as Duty Manager at Brighton will bring."
Taking over Chris’s role as Boatyard Supervisor will be Daniel Thomas-Fitzpatrick. Daniel has been with Premier for ten years, starting as a Seasonal and moving through the ranks of Berthing Operative, Marina Host, Boatyard Operative, and finally Boatyard Supervisor.
As an accredited ‘Investors in People’ company, Premier Marinas encourages and helps employees to learn everything they can about the marina industry in order to deliver the best possible service to customers. Chris and Daniel have both completed a significant amount of training and qualifications during their time with Premier, including RYA Powerboat Level 2, Coastal and Day Skipper courses, First Aid courses, and Slinger/Banksman and Plant tickets, to name a few. The team at Brighton are ready to assist customers in any way they can.
