New faces and promotions at Port Solent Marina

Date:

Changes at Port Solent Marina as we welcome new members of the team and celebrate career-advancing achievements.

We are delighted to announce the promotion of Holly Jefkins as Port Solent’s new Duty Manager. Holly joined the team here as Boatyard Supervisor back in July 2021 following seven years previously working at Premier’s Chichester Marina managing the busy boatyard schedule. Holly is excited to take the next step up in her career as part of the management team and embrace the challenges that the Duty Manager role brings.

We welcomed Thomas Knight as a Berthing Operative this summer, who has now moved into a Boatyard Administrator position. With a background in customer service in the tourism industry and operating charter yachts around Greece, Tom returned to the UK and is delighted to remain working in the marine industry. “I feel very fortunate to have been able to get a role back in the UK that keeps me working around yachts on a daily basis,” says Tom.

“I love being a part of the marine industry and Port Solent Marina is brilliant place to work and I have already had the chance to experience different roles within the team.”

We are also proud to announce our Government Kickstart candidate, Suhag Moni has now been taken on in a permanent position as Lock Keeper and joins former Customer Service Advisor Steph Brittain who has also moved into the Lock Keeper role.
