Our Open Days, taking place on 18-19 April, are a great opportunity to find out more about what’s on offer at Brighton Marina. Plus, if you opt for a free trial night you'll get a real feel for life in the marina.
When you arrive at one of our Open Days, you are welcomed with a complimentary tea or coffee at our Marina Reception before a member of staff takes you on a personalised tour of the marina, showing you first hand the facilities on site, and discussing your berthing requirements with you.
The tour will provide you with a complete in-depth look at the facilities on offer at Brighton Marina, including the fully serviced boatyard, luxury berth holder facilities and even specific potential berths that suit your needs. You will also get a feel for Brighton's vibrant and cosmopolitan atmosphere, while seeing first-hand the huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants available to you at the marina.
Why not meet the Brighton Marina Manager between 12:00 – 14:00 on Saturday 18th April? Pre-book a 20 minute appointment for the opportunity to ask Daniel Heckford, Brighton’s new Marina Manager any questions you may have about the marina and the facilities available to berth holders.
Plus it is an excellent opportunity to find out more about what’s on offer at Brighton Marina and to meet tenants at East Lockside. Especially as a number of marine businesses will be throwing open their doors to visitors and putting on free events, including:
- Nicky Canvasworks will be hosting a drop in workshop between 11:00 – 15:00 on Saturday 18th April. Sales Manager, Jason Slingo from Lewmar will be in attendance offering training and guidance on servicing your Lewmar winch and visitors will be able to buy new winches on the day and spares at discounted prices. Kate Moss from International Paints will also be on hand to offer expert advice on how to paint your boat, available colours and information on the coating products. Visitors will also have the chance to view a large selection of opened tins of varnishes and paints and learn how to apply marine paint to different boat surfaces.
- Mark Rowe, key account manager of Kingfisher Ropes will be in attendance with the Nickys Canvasworks team running 4 x rope splicing and whipping courses. To pre-book your free place on Nickys Canvasworks splicing and whipping workshop on Saturday 18th April call 01273 690696. All rope and equipment for the course is being kindly supplied by Kingfisher ropes - all rope purchased on the day will be offered at a discounted price.
- The RNLI will be on hand to offer sea safety advice on Sunday 19th April between 10am and 2pm. Bring along your lifejacket to have it checked out by the experts and why not also arrange a free onboard advisory visit to cover all aspects of sea safety? Call the Marina Reception on 01273 819 919.
