Port Solent Marina

Marina Services

 Premier Marinas Port Solent Berths

Water

Water is available at Port Solent and is free of charge.

Bathroom Facilities

Port Solent Marina has two berth holder dedicated luxury toilet and shower blocks, located at Bridgehead 1 and Bridgehead 2. Both facility blocks are open 24 hours a day, with ‘private bathrooms’ providing baby changing rooms, disabled facilities and vanity areas with hairdryers. Access to these facilities is by key fob only.

Laundrette

The launderette at the South Coast marina is located on the ground floor of the Port House. Here you will find contactless payment operated washing and drying machines. There is also an iron and ironing board. Washing powder is not supplied but may be purchased at the nearby Tesco store which is open 24 hours a day most days

Recycling

In April 2020, Premier signed a new contract with Veolia to improve waste management and recycling across all Premier sites. There are now dedicated bins for general waste and recycling in situ across the marina, with clear signage to identify and encourage more recycling at Port Solent Marina. You can read more about Premier Marinas’ steps to creating a more sustainable waterside here.

In September 2020 Premier invested £43,000 into a new water refuse collector or “weed boat” at Port Solent Marina from Water Witch – purchased from Water Witch, “world leaders in waterway clean-up”, to help maintain a cleaner marina environment and clearer waters.

Electric Vehicle Charging

Port Solent Marina offers electric charging points for up to six vehicles, situated in the 'Bridgehead Two' car park, with the three pillars each supporting two 'Type 2' sockets. These are managed by Pod Point, and to charge your car you will need to download the Pod Point App and follow these steps:

• Log in to an existing Pod Point account, create a new account or continue as a guest.
• Add a payment card - Apple pay is also supported.
• Plug into the socket and then plug into your vehicle.
• Find the charging point name - located on the socket
• Confirm your charge - within the first 15 min.

Instructions are displayed on the socket, with more information available here.

Now that these dedicated charging stations are operational we will no longer be able to support vehicle charging via mobile electricity points. These are not optimised to support vehicle charging. Please ensure you remove your car from the charging bay as soon as your vehicle is charged to allow others to use the facility.
