Recycling
In April 2020, Premier signed a new contract with Veolia to improve waste management and recycling across all Premier sites. There are dedicated bins for general waste and recycling in situ across the marina, with clear signage to identify and encourage more recycling. You can read more about Premier Marinas’ steps towards creating a more sustainable waterside here.
Pump-out Facilities
Swanwick Marina’s holding tank pump-out facility is located on the marina’s self-serve fuel berth. Charges are £10 per 15 minutes* for Premier Berth Holders, £25 per 15 minutes for commercial and monthly berth holders and for overnight visitors. Adaptors, if required are available on the fuel berth. Please visit the Marina Reception to purchase a token ahead of arriving at the fuel berth. Note: Pump performance is better around high tide
*A 15 minute slot will usually suffice to empty an average tank.
Electric Vehicle Charging
Swanwick Marina offers electric charging points for up to six vehicles, situated behind the new pavilion building, The Saltings. These are managed by Pod Point, and to charge your car you will need to download the Pod Point App and follow these steps:
•
Log in to an existing Pod Point account, create a new account or continue as a guest.
•
Add a payment card - Apple pay is also supported.
•
Plug into the socket and then plug into your vehicle.
•
Find the charging point name - located on the socket
•
Confirm your charge - within the first 15 min.
Instructions are displayed on the socket, with more information available here.
Now that these dedicated charging stations are operational we will no longer be able to support vehicle charging via mobile electricity points. These are not optimised to support vehicle charging. Please ensure you remove your car from the charging bay as soon as your vehicle is charged to allow others to use the facility.
