About Gosport Marina
Premier Marinas' Gosport Marina is a TYHA Five Gold Anchors award-winning marina located at the mouth of Portsmouth Harbour, just minutes from the eastern edge of the world-renowned cruising grounds of the Solent. Family friendly and popular with cruisers and racers alike, the marina offers 24-hour access to open water and makes a great start point for boating in The Solent. On a day’s cruise from here, you can easily reach Chichester’s
natural harbour, visit the famous Isle of Wight yacht havens, or venture further afield to Beaulieu, Lymington or Poole.
Back at the South Coast marina, there’s a choice of two berthing styles; traditional in-water berthing for boats up to 29 metres (4m draft) and a dry stack
option for motorboats, sportsboats and RIBs up to 10m.
But, whichever berthing style you choose, when it is time to relax at the marina you should head for the Boat House Café
. Located at the heart of the marina and overlooking the water, the Boat House Café is just right for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or supper. The café also provides the perfect vantage point for spotting the marina’s resident Clipper Round the World Yacht Race fleet or watching Portsmouth’s busy maritime activity drift by, from naval warships and aircraft carriers, to tall ships and small craft – all set against the backdrop of Portsmouth’s famous Historic Dockyard and the awe-inspiring Spinnaker Tower.
Venturing outside of the South Coast marina, Gosport offers a range of attractions including historic walks and award-winning museums that celebrate the town’s naval heritage. For groceries, restaurants and local shopping, Gosport High Street is just a two minute walk away and on Tuesdays and Saturdays there’s a lively local market to explore.
But, if you really enjoy shopping, the ferry to Portsmouth is just two minutes away and across the harbour at Gunwharf Quays
, you’ll find an exciting array of outlet shops, bars and restaurants plus entertainment in the multiplex cinema, bowling alley and nightclubs.
Alongside Gosport Marina’s 500 wet berths and its dry stack that has the capacity to berth 148 boats, Gosport Marina offers a fully serviced boatyard
that includes a specialist marine forklift and a 14 tonne crane. Supporting the boatyard team is a wide variety of marine services tenants
in the Marine Trades Centre and, for routine maintenance, there are two well-stocked chandleries close by.
