Southsea Marina Angling Club is a friendly group made up of people who fish from boats berthed in the marina. Established in 2013, it has over fifty members and twenty five members boats berthed in the marina.
Member meetings are usually at 19.30 on the first Tuesday of every month at the onsite Marina Bar.
The club’s annual competition will run from 1st February 2022 to 31st January 2023.
The annual membership fee is only £20.00 and includes a summer BBQ and a variety of competitions, such as a ‘Fish of the Month’ with a cash prize and medal.
The club has a filleting/fish cleaning station, weigh scales and a lock-up shed, along with bait and ice for sale at the Marina Reception.
