By road via Totnes
Dartmouth is 17 miles from the A384 (Buckfastleigh) exit of the A38 Devon Expressway between Exeter and Plymouth.
Follow signs to Totnes and Dartmouth (A381/A3122). As you descend the hill into Dartmouth, keep in the left lane to head straight toward the Dart Marina complex.
Via the Higher Ferry
From the M5, take the A380 towards Newton Abbot and Torquay, then follow the A379 towards Brixham. Just past Churston station, bear right and follow signs for the Dartmouth Higher Ferry. The ferry will drop you off right next to Dart Marina on the Dartmouth side of the river.
From M5 / A380
From the M5, take the A380 exit from the Devon Expressway and follow the signs towards Newton Abbot and Torquay. Before reaching Torquay, turn right onto the A379 towards Paignton and Brixham. Just past Churston station, bear right and follow the signs down to the Dartmouth Higher Ferry. The ferry will take you across the River Dart, landing you directly alongside the marina entrance on the Dartmouth side.
